The Cortex has several user friendly options to customize the way that sensor data can be seen on the instrument view. These can be tailored to each handset, as different locations (eg. cockpit or nav. stations) on the vessel may need different information. With each handset you can easily change the configuration of the display and then easily change the data that you see in that configuration.
To utilize this function, start from the main menu screen by Highlighting or tapping on the Instruments Icon.
This opens you on to the Instruments view.
You can change the layout of the instruments and the way they are seen on the instrument view by simply selecting the pattern you prefer.
Back to the instrument view, on the bottom left is a button with a green arrows or a lock. Tapping so the arrows are visible allows you to slide the available instruments into view in each instrument window by using a swipe gesture with your finger. Once the desired instrument cluster is selected tap on the arrows to lock the instrument view.
The data presented can come from Cortex internal sources, the NMEA 2000 bus or the NMEA 0183 input.
